Wow, what a home! This amazing project belongs to David and Anna, who have totally transformed their Wimbledon home with a side extension and double-storey garage conversion.

This has been a project that David and Anna have been dreaming up for years, but they've never previously been in a position to go ahead with. In 2021, after 25 years (!) of living in the property and carefully mapping their vision, they reached out to Resi to get the project in motion after we were recommended to them by a friend.

Our designers helped David and Anna to achieve a fantastic garage conversion which we totally rebuilt and extended on top of. This added in an extra bedroom with an en-suite where it was previously just a flat roof, with entry to the main hallway on the first floor. They've decorated the en-suite with beautiful botanical tiles from The Baked Tiles Company.

The converted garage connects to the ground floor of the house via a small WC that's been added in and a utility room, which leads through to their kitchen. In the space that is now solely their kitchen used to be a much smaller kitchen and dining area, with plenty of dead space to the side of the house in the garden. We extended with a side infill into that dead space, creating a much bigger kitchen plus a large dining area that connects to a lounge area, creating an open-plan feeling. They've personalised the space with some gorgeous unique touches that reflect their personal taste as homeowners, keeping the exposed brick on the back wall which is styled with a seating area, an original Martini print and a statue.

We knew what we wanted, this is a project we've been planning in our heads for years and years. Life is amazing with the extension, it's how we imagined it and we're absolutely thrilled.
