This gorgeous property is the family home of two teachers and their two children, located in a conservation area in Lewisham.

The homeowners reached out to Resi to investigate ways in which they could maximise their home, as they needed more space but were keen to avoid moving. They have lived at the property for a few years problem-free while the kids were small, but they reached the stage where it was starting to feel a little cramped for everyone, and the kids wanted their own bedrooms. The family have been living in the local area for over ten years and have settled as part of the community in Lewisham, with their kids' schools nearby, convenient commutes to work, and a close network of neighbours and friends on nearby streets.

We transformed the property by designing them an incredibly spacious and contemporary side infill extension, comprising of a large colourful kitchen, two bedrooms and an extra bathroom. The house now perfectly accommodates their needs as a growing family, giving them the flexibility to stay in the house they love, enjoying all the little things that make it a home for years to come.
